The Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards, organized by the Lokmat Media Group, were presented today by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
At the event held at Suresh Bhat Auditorium in Reshimbagh, renowned singer Usha Mangeshkar was honored with the Legend Award, while famous ghazal singer Talat Aziz received the Icon Award. Classical singer Aniruddh Aithal, along with emerging talents Antara Nandy and Ankita Nandy, were recognized with the Emerging Talent Award.
Chief Minister Fadnavis congratulated the award winners and expressed pride in the new generation’s remarkable contributions to Indian music. He expressed confidence that the emerging artists honored with the national music award would gain widespread recognition.
Following the award ceremony, Ustad Shujaat Hussain Khan and his group presented a soulful Sufi singing and sitar performance. The event was graced by Finance Minister Ashish Jaiswal, former MP Vijay Darda, and other distinguished guests from various fields
