Mumbai: Mihir Kotecha, BJP MLA from Mulund and BJP and Mahayutti candidate for Mulund Assembly will file his nomination papers tomorrow, Thursday, October 24. Large number party workers and residents are expected to join a road show tomorrow.
A huge road show is organised from renowned Hanuman Temple in Mulund (East) at 10am on Thursday. “I urge all the residents of Mulund to join this roadshow to bless the son of Mulund to contest the assembly elections for the second time,” said Kotecha.
Mihir Kotecha is a sitting MLA from Mulund. His name is announced in the first list of candidates released by BJP. Kotecha is also the Treasurer of BJP Maharashtra. In the 2019 Assembly Elections, BJP candidate Mihir Kotecha received 87,253 votes, while MNS candidate Harshala Chavan got only 29,905 votes. Kotecha had won the election by a huge margin. Kotecha has been an active office bearer of BJP for the last 34 years and has been the leader in organizing Marathi Dandiya and Deepotsav in Mulund.
